Bourbon aged in these heavily “alligator” charred oak barrels anywhere from 8-16+ years. The bourbon emptied from these hand-selected barrels is carefully picked by distillers.
Older bourbon barrels offer more nuanced flavors with deep character, as opposed to the intense, vibrant profile of younger bourbon. Expect to add spicy, bold flavors to aged beverages, including creamy toffee, licorice and vanilla.
